We come on pilgrimage to join in a mass offered for our country

Especially with and through the Virgin Mary at the foot of the Cross, on this feast day of Our Lady of Sorrows
Each pilgrim joins his or her own offering, and that of his or her country, with offerings from all over the world. We place ourselves in the hands of Mary. She presents us to her Son, offered on the Cross at every Eucharist.
Every country is invited to take part in this international Eucharistic pilgrimage, and to unite in the Sacrifice of the Son at the altar :
« Assemble my faithful ones before me, who seal my covenant with sacrifice. » (Ps 49:5)
« Go forth! Make disciples of all nations: baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; teach them to observe all that I have commanded you. And I am with you always, to the end of the age. (Mt 28, 19-20)
« Let’s go and appease the face of the Lord, let’s go and seek the Lord of the universe! As for me, I’m going. » (Za 8:21)
